Frequently Asked Questions

What is Mental Health and Wellbeing Coaching?

Mental health & wellbeing coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process that helps you build resilience, manage stress, and develop healthier habits to support your emotional and psychological wellbeing. It’s not about diagnosing or treating mental illness, but rather empowering you with tools and strategies to understand more about yourself, navigate challenges, and build the confidence to move forwards.

What are the differences between coaching and therapy?

Coaching focuses on the present and future, helping you identify goals, develop strategies, and take actionable steps to create change. It’s often more structured and solution-focused. Therapy, on the other hand, may explore deeper emotional issues, past experiences, or mental health conditions. If you're unsure which is right for you, I'm happy to help you explore your options.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll explore what you’d like to work on, discuss your current challenges and goals, and identify where coaching can support you.

How many sessions will I need?

Everyone is different. Some clients benefit from just a few sessions to work through a specific issue, while others choose ongoing coaching for continued support and growth. We’ll tailor the frequency and duration to your individual needs and preferences.

Do you offer remote coaching?

Yes. Coaching sessions are available remotely via video call over Zoom, making it easy and flexible to access support wherever you are.

Is coaching confidential?

Absolutely. Everything you share in coaching is treated with respect and confidentiality. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for honest conversations. The only exception is if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others, in which case I have a duty of care to act appropriately.

How do I book a session?

You can book a session by using the contact form, emailing me directly, or contacting me via WhatsApp. If you’re not sure if coaching is for you, feel free to get in touch for a free 15 minute introductory chat.
